I think that may be more true than we knew.
There are so many examples of coaches taking over at programs with plenty of talent and laying an egg because they were not as good of a coach as their peers. If you think about it....the best coaches in college succeed everywhere they go and grow programs that become champions at the college level. It probably helps that they are outstanding recruiters as a part of their coaching skills.
