Conference teams is longer and I would definitely kick new mexico/fresno and UNLV to the curb. USU as of late has been better than either of those teams too. Also agree with still questing, tough to convince them to only play 6-7 conference games. Maybe if only the best 8 teams were in the conference and we played all of them, then the schedule would be pretty decent with 3 P5's in out of conference (and one easier game to start the season).

I could get behind a schedule of 3 P5's (Utah being one of them), Houston, Boise, UCF, USF, and whoever else is in the 8 team conference. We would likley have at least 8 really respectable games a year, and the others would still be decent G5 teams. That would likely rival any of our current schedules (except maybe 2021).
