I enjoy comic book movies. They're fun. That is what I'm looking for in my entertainment. If that makes me some kind of nerd, fine. I like other kinds of movies, too.

Also, I like continued story lines (I love a good, long TV series), so the Marvel movies have been fun in that respect.

The only thing weirder than "nerds" being catered to in entertainment is how strongly some of you that don't get it (and you don't have to, it's no big deal) react to it
