that's why I'm wondering why people are flocking to see all of them? Especially if you didn't grow up reading comics or following these stories.

Again, I'm reacting to them now, simply because that's all I see is this type of film. They dominate everything. They are in my face 24/7, commercials, magazines, trailers, chat boards, etc....

I wish there were just more variety in the big films being released. Right now we seem to be being fed the same film on a conveyor belt. For someone like me who couldn't tell the difference between Marvel or DC or not either, it's really noisy out here getting bombarded with these films even when you mostly ignore them.
