No it isn't. They are playing kids that also have played their whole lives, but
who have learned to play differently. If you pit those same old fat mexican men against latin kids who are taught the same way as the old fat mexicans, they get ran. I used to play with the founders of the La Roca club. These were old men from Argentina, Chile and Brazil. They were not athletic any more. We would torch 22 year old kids that played soccer their whole lives, but then we would play 22 year old kids that had been taught the same game these older players had (and who weren't usually as athletic as the other group of kids) and they would torch us.

Americans are fixated with athleticism to the detrment of skill development and tactical discipline.
