LOL. Ghana works more against your point than anything I said.
Ghana has elite athletes. All their kids play soccer. They aren't very good at soccer. They're ranked 49th to the US at 24. That is fairly typical. They have a horrible developmental program that relies on athleticism.
I didn't mean that we are always more athletic than opponents, just that we are usually more athletic. This is true and it doesn't make us win. It also doesn't make Ghana better than their less athletic opponents.
