1. I never said we had the most talented players. Indeed, my whole argument is that they aren't that talented — just athletic.
2. I simply said that they are usually more athletic than opponents. Here is a direct quote: "Our soccer athletes are often much better than our opponents." However, athleticism isn't the same as being good (or talented). We still lose to teams that we are more athletic than because athleticism doesn't matter as much in soccer.
