Then why did you argue that elite athletes would learn those skills "surprisingly fast"?
People are trying to tell you that if our elite athletes started playing at a young age and THEN NOT SWITCHING TO A DIFFERENT SPORT.I know. And I'm telling them that they are confusing "raw athlete that can play basketball/football" with "athlete that has the toolset to be an elite soccer player".
If you think being quick, strong, and agile is what makes an elite soccer player, you don't understand the game.
