Here's a great example: Toyota Stadium in Frisco. This stadium is shared by a MLS team and HS football teams. Yes, that's right, in the US, professional soccer teams are at a level that they need the same facilities as high school teams of the most popular sport.
WikipediaToyota Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium with a 20,500-seat capacity, built and owned by the city of Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Its primary tenants are Major League Soccer club FC Dallas and Frisco Independent School District high school football games. It is also the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame which opened in 2018.

So, why aren't the best soccer players playing soccer in HS, college or pro? You just admitted that they aren't. As Laser and I have been saying, it's because those kids who would have turned into the best soccer players are playing different sports.
I regret that I threw out the names of some superstars in other sports because you can't seem to get past that. We are not saying that the best athletes in other sports would for sure be the best soccer players. We are saying that the best soccer players don't play soccer in the US. You yourself literally just said that.
