The current USMNT isn't lacking in "quickness, agility, strength", though. You could get them faster,
more agile, and stronger, and it won't make a difference. Soccer is more technical than football and requires more teamwork than basketball. So no, you can't just plug in a KD-type and expect them to be elite. A team full of Peter Crouches wold look hilarious, but no, it wouldn't be elite.
All of this is just academic, though. The USMNT is not elite, period. Don't care what falsehoods people choose to spin to excuse that fact.
