You also said it was happening everywhere. It definitely isn't.
What's more to the point, we are already more athletic than our opponents. They are and always have beat us with less athletic players. Pirlo is a world class soccer player and a poor athlete. Thomas Muller is better than any player we have ever had and yet virtually every player we have ever had is more athletic than him.
