I was asking for opinions, not stating that I believe it should be any percent
higher or lower. Just wondering if anyone thought a different amount was warranted or not.
I don't believe I've backed a certain percentage. Nor have I backed a certain level of training/education/experience. Just seeking opinions of those who state that the current model is too easy to break into or that someone gets paid too much for what they do. I appreciated the direct answers some gave (Broda's $25 per hour on time spent directly on a home, although I wouldn't work for that little if I were a realtor - now, I might work for $75 or the $150-$200 per hour we pay appraisers).

The problem is buyers all get agents because they don't have to pay. Then sellers homes don't get shown if using flat
