Changing to a 4yr university would have ended the pipeline anyway
Once the decision was made to move to a 4yr university, the JC pipeline we had there would have been dead. Less likely good talent would go there to transfer to BYU knowing they would lose a year of eligibility in the process. Dropping sports didn't kill the pipeline, changing to a 4yr university did.
