, but they also had a mediocre football program (admittedly on the rise with 2 great years but 2 out of 100 is garbage). They got an invite to the worst of all the P5 divisions which allowed them to be instantly competitive. Since they've joined the PAC12 south, only one PAC12 south team has won a rose bowl (USC in 2017 barely beat Penn St). No other PAC12 South team has even made the rose bowl. It's a garbage division year in and year out and they didn't win it once til last year.

Thinking about those things ruins my day and makes me want to vomit. If we had been in their shoes, we'd be landing more of the top LDS talent and likely would have made at least one rose bowl. Okay who knows about likely, but the possiblity is there. Screw everyone, but especially the utes.
