It would have absolutely improved, but it's not like BYU was recruiting better

than Utah in the last few years of the MWC, such that you could expect BYU's bump in recruiting to result in more P12 success than what Utah has experienced. And I'm no arguing with you, because I know you didn't reach that conclusion, just addressing your point in the context of the OP.
