for Christmas day and told me to tell them I needed Christmas day off but I told him no one could have it off and I'd have to quit. He just kinda grumbled at that.

So X-mas eve I work and at the end of my shift I went up to the manager and told them I needed the next day off and they said you can't and I told them I wasn't coming in. They then said "you know if you don't show up you're fired right." I just shrugged my shoulders and said "k" and walked off. Never went back

The important thing to note here is that it was the craziest ski day ever, 36" of fresh powder, it was basically too deep which I didn't know was possible. If it wasn't on the steepest black diamond slopes you had to basically bomb straight down the hill with snow blowing in your mouth and nose and your quads would be on fire. It was an epic ski day and totally worth quitting a minimum wage job that I didn't like or need.
