One of my jobs was to send two drivers to repair shops with parts. I would pull the list of parts and have them in a pile and they would load them and deliver them their destination.
I always double-check these lists and never made a mistake, one of my drivers took a run to Provo for a critical repair job and forgot a part, parts manager comes in hot and tells me that either me or the driver would be fired the next day.
I needed to quit pretty soon for my mission anyway so I called in the very next morning and asked my manager if he had fired the driver, when he said no I told him that I quit. He said, "Michael, that's cheap". He had a temper and was verbally abusive despite me doing an incredible job there, gave me an extra couple months to prepare for the mission.
May have been a little immature on my part but I was fed up
