The ball not bouncing our way has nothing to do with independence in and of itself. If there’s any blame to go around I would put it on some coaching decisions 1st and poor decisions by a few impact players 2nd. Other than that blame the football gods.

I don’t know what the future will bring. The current optic is that being in a conference would help the program. But give it a week, or a month, or a year, and the picture will be very different. Things changing so fast right now. And who knows? We may see that being independent has given us the ability to weather this storm in ways many other teams can’t.
