Things, I've experienced as a coach

Parents yelling at me.
Parents wanting to fight me because of playing time.
Me telling parents to stop yelling at their kid from the stands.
Me telling a parent to stop overriding my plays from the stands and telling their kid to do something else.
A coach wanting to fight me because he felt I was trying to embarrass his team. Later I talked with the coach and found out he was super stressed out because his wife forced him to coach and he didn't want to. He apologized and said he is just losing it with all the stress.
Parents getting mad because I said no snacks or treats after games. The are big kids and no longer need a reward for showing up.
Parents getting mad at me because I said it's a travel ball team and we are going to play the best 9 on the field. Will do my best to get other kids opportunities but it may be limited.

And my all time best comment from a parent...

I better be glad I do this for free because if I was paid i would be ripping people off with how bad I am at it 🙂 That was from a parent who's kid never showed up to a single practice and was placed as a decoy lineman because he never knew the play we were running in flag football.
