It’s not a perk when you’re permanently working. The way you described it (2am+,
constant weekend work) when would you be doing anything but working? At that point you’re not really home anyway.
Seems to me this may be a practical application of the teaching that “no other success can compensate for failure in the home”.
I would be over the moon if I were making $190k and had freedom and time for my family and myself. Throw me in that briar patch.
