I have known many LDS professionals that would rather be at work than spending time with family. The HCBW can be kept at bay with the right house equipped with the appropriate appliances and counter tops. Most general authorities were probably rarely home given their professional and church responsibilities. A family is something that you can just sit back and admire from a distance while you focus on obtaining high paying career positions and prestigious church assignments.
