I would be a little bit wary of working permanently from home, in a satellite location away from the brain trust. Just hard to assume continued advancement and promotions in a situation like that, where you’re not interacting regularly in person with people higher up the chain (or even anyone) even in 2021.

That’s the main thing I would think about and look seriously into before hopping to the higher-paying job. Just be really wary of anything a competitor is saying as it’s trying to recruit you.
