is good but having spent time in NYC I think for a lot of people money is one of just one of the reasons people do it. There is a sense of accomplishment and pride being at the top of the industry and doing deals landing on front page of WSJ. Most people in Wall Street have spent their lives motivated to be the best-get the best grades to get into the best schools so that they can get the best jobs. That mentality and sense of accomplishment (along with the money of course) keeps people from leaving.
