Possibly. The hospital was not (Utah Valley), and we got whatever doc was in the ER that night.

It’s not eliminating surprise payments that’s the issue tho. The bill is the bill. What we should eliminate is surprise

The ER group has a meeting every 5 years or so with the insurer. They negotiate what the insurer will pay for each

Yeah, it would have been the ER doc's billing, who then passed it onto collections. I get that.
