But what does the term "negotiated price" mean in that case? It would imply the doctor agreed to it.
We got 2 separate bills: one from the hospital, and one from the doctor. The hospital one was a negotiated payment, which insurance paid, and it's done.
The doctor bill was also a negotiated payment, it was paid, but they want the rest of the bill from us. What exactly did they negotiate, and with whom? It would seem that was a negotiated, or may contractual payment with the doctor's billing, in which case, why are they coming to me?
More importantly, what do I do now?

I don’t really know how to fix it but the ER doc likely works for a large group that is contracted by the hospital. That
