I think a call to Nebraska makes sense. But after they get turned down, they have to pivot to survival mode.
Band together and expend to 12. Maybe even 14. Cripple the AAC and MWC for good and become the clear #5.
Add BYU, UCF, Cinci and Houston. If to 14, add Boise and then Memphis
Then do a east/west and make it work.
