Maybe A&M gets pissed off enough the jump back to the Big 12. I highly doubt it, but if you are the Big 12 you at least APPROACH Nebraska, A&M, Missouri, Colorado, and even the Arizona schools about the possibility of joining up.
I don't foresee that going anywhere, though, and at that point it's either raid the G5 to get back to 10 or 12 or the scatter to other landing spots.
The thing that gets me is when schools like Iowa St. make comments like "Cincinnati and Houston bring no eyeballs or value". Compare to Texas, sure. But they are grossly overvaluing their own following as much of.their conference value is based on Texas and Oklahoma.
