As a conclusion that the whole system is worthless. It's not perfect, but statistically, a four star is more likely to start in college and make an NFL roster.

For BYU (2008-2017 classes) those numbers are 5*: N/A, 4*: 23.1%, 3*: 1.5%, 2*/unrated: 4.2%
