Honestly, hard to say thus far. Still early in Sitake's tenure, but can look at how Utah did over the last decade
BYU hasn't had a lot of players drafted in the last decade (regardless of star rating) until last year, so that would indicate we haven't over performed. That said, Kalani (and staff) is a relatively recent addition so we'd only be seeing above average results starting now if we think he's better at identifying under the radar guys or developing them. So in that case, it's useful to look at how Utah has historically done when they had Sitake.

And they do call out Utah (among a few others) as consistently outperforming their star ratings, whether in putting players into the NFL, in winning games against teams with better recruits, or in getting higher national ranks than would be expected. So there's no guarantee or way of knowing how much of that is Whitt, Sitake or someone else, but it at least opens the possibility that Sitake either was the special sauce at Utah or that he learned and brought it with him
