I hope this is not true and I don’t think it is. I take Kalani at his word that he wanted to be the Polynesian Lavell and be at BYU for a career. To leave now for money would contradict everything that he said. He was not prepared to be a head coach and it took several years for him to grow into the job. BYU is on the cusp of bigger things in the big 12 and the money will come. He would be crazy to go as well as disingenuous.
