That flies in the face of everything Holmoe is saying though.
His comments make it seem like BYU is being tightwads and is telling Kalani to kick rocks. I highly doubt that is going on.
To your point, he’s saying the same things that has been said about BYU in the past. Copy and paste. I don’t believe this has been an issue for Kalani and that if he’s asked for it BYU has delivered. I just don’t see Holmoe saying what he is to the public but behind closed doors telling Kalani to shove it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been saying from the beginning that Kalani should leverage every job opportunity he can. I believe BYU will do all they can to pay him what he’s being offered elsewhere.
