uniforms, shown that they would pay more $$ for coaches (see Grimes), extended Kalani twice (after a bad season and then before the 2021 season), BYU has accepted an invite to the B12, cobbling together a season in 2020, NIL, all sports are doing well.... Also, don't pretend that Kalani hasn't made several million at BYU. He has.
Sounds like BYU has been willing to support KS and his staff. Yes, the coach market has exploded these last couple years, but I think that BYU has and will try to keep up. Yes, BYU can improve their football program and should bump pay to the assistant coaches (admin, 'red tape'...).
Note: I like KS and supported him through his meh, terrible and Hyde/Jeckyl seasons. If he chose to leave I'd be pretty disappointed in him. BYU gave him a shot (I don't think he'd be a HC anywhere had BYU not come calling) and BYU supported him when his team was total garbage.
