The reason they say that is because of a lack of inventory and the time it takes
To build your way out of that is relatively easy to figure out.
I am not saying this is or isn't a bubble, but I think it is more complex than houses are expensive. No one can really predict what will happen but there is certainly a case for a crash and the "bubble" not popping.

I think people are sitting on a lot of equity in their homes. They may have mortgaged to the max when they bought but
