Sure.. they get jobs, but most of them are just 'web developers' (the same stuff you can teach yourself at home)... doing the same stuff my company sends 'off-shore'. (My wife uses a guy in Africa they found on Fiverr).
Take that $10k, and put him into UVU's software development program. (if you are in utah). He'll make MORE money and have an easier time getting/keeping a job.
