Started doing them over the past year and believe they have really helped in improving my first step in basketball. I am not super great at them, but I think they are helping me to better engage my hamstrings when I make quick movements. I have been doing other things to strengthen my legs too, but feel like this has been a key component.
If you can do a full Nordic curl without assistance, you are a pretty elite athlete. I hope to be able to do one at some point, all the way down controlled all the way up controlled.
