and trying to run smack on the Ute board. It seems like every other week a CBer posts on cougarboard that they just ran some smack on the ute board and we should all go over and see how upset they are based on their board comments. Some CBers find joy in trying to get into internet fights with the Utes - just as some Utes love to come on here, post some smack-nonsense and then see how riled up CB can get.

It kind of remind me of the handful of missionaries in my mission who only wanted to Bible Bash the JWs and found great joy in starting the conflict. They tried to "convert" others with bible logic and trying to beat them with biblical verses, with no intentions of really trying to convert individuals.

For me personally, I went on the ute board one time 4-5 years ago and have never been back. I wanted to see how the board was set up and what kinds of discussion they had. The whole board set up was a mess and their topics didn't interest me - even the anti-BYU posts. The only time I really like posting about topics that involve the ute is during rivalry weeks or during times like when their AD says they don't want to schedule us or the emergence of the ridiculous number on PAC12 signage around SLC (as opposed to signs about their own team). Again, I post these thoughts on CB and don't see a need to post them on the ute board just to get them all worked up.

I personally think that the u will struggle in football and basketball playing in the PAC12, especially in FB. But I don't feel the need to try to run smack data to convince THEM that they are struggling. Maybe it is because I live on the east coast and am not immersed in "the rivalry" on a day to day basis.
