My best friend and the guy I play golf with every Saturday is a Utah man. He proudly wears his Utah hat and I proudly wear my BYU hat and the caddies laugh about it. We have a good time with the rivalry and he is very irritated that Utah is dropping BYU in football. He will be moving back to SLC in the spring (retired after 28 years in the Army and 24 running Army programs for Lockheed Martin). I will miss Bill greatly. We go to dinner together, we go on vacations together and we love to tease each other. Bill's wife and son are BYU grads so he gets it a little more than I do. He shows up every year to watch the game with a cake that says "Go Utah, Beat BYU".

I agree that Coach K has things looking better. I disagree that Utah will become competitive in football in the PAC12.
