At this point that's a risk I think we should be willing to take
And frankly, at this point the risk of getting a coach that's not at least as good as Bronco is pretty small.
Bronco is a great defensive coordinator, but not a very good head coach. My personal opinion is he doesn't seem to be very good at surrounding himself with the right coaches to make his team successful. Maybe he's blinded by loyalty to certain coaches who have been loyal to him, or maybe he's just really bad at potential hires and putting them in the right spots.
Whatever the case, the results speak for themselves. And I'm not just talking about that fact that the team has lost 4 in a row (which is pretty bad on it's own). But giving up 42 points to Nevada at home after a long week of preparation and then following up that stinkfest with a game where the team gives up 55 points in inexcusable.
I like our teams odds with just about any other coach.
