I don't see how someone could possibly do worse, coaching BYU, against a bunch of scrubs. 7-8 wins are virtually automatic when you're BYU playing the competition that we do. A monkey should be able to win 7-8 games at BYU against some of the teams we play.
Are you worried that we wouldn't be able to find another guy that can lose 4 in a row to utah and go 3-6 in state with all 3 wins against utah state? Are you worried we can't find someone who might, just maybe might be able to do better than 54-10?
What exactly is the big risk here? Oh no, we don't want to lose that.
