So Broncos a cookie? And or next coach is a car?
It's my gambling side, my analytical side that says I should hold. With Bronco, it's like having a 17-18 in blackjack; you have a good hand. You're gonna win the majority of the time, but you lose some too. 21 is always better, but odds are you go over if you take the hit. You're asking for a hit when you already have a good hand. Bronco wins 70% of his games. I'd stay. Chances of doing better are small and if you do better it's an incremental improvement.
A cookie is a dollar. A new car is $30,000. Are you suggesting that a new coach would be 30,000 times better than Bronco?
Like 30000 times more yards? 30000 times more wins? 30000 times better how? Of course not. So it'll be an incremental change. Nobody wins all the games.
Maybe, just maybe you get a once in a lifetime coach like Urban Meyer and you win 75%. But the odds are against it; you probably bust.
