You are taking the stance that a few outspoken women have (I'm oppressed! Stop telling me to be ashamed of my body!) and projecting it on every woman. The majority of women cover up out of a sense of modesty. Modesty isn't about being ashamed or embarrassed about your body. You keep saying that society is telling women they should be ashamed to show any part of their body in public. In reality, there are very few people saying that, and very few women who feel disrespected because of it.
You are banging an awful loud drum for something that is only a problem in the eyes of a very few.
