Well, you're the one that interjected the "bad" into his explanation.
But, getting back to the original question, the church does not sponsor commercial sports entertainment on Sundays, as it would fly in the face of its own direction to members to not seek commercial entertainment on Sundays. As far as individuals are concerned, the church also teaches about this concept called "agency" that teaches individuals to make personal decisions about big things like career choices, and the responsibility that would accompany such choices.
