Cmon, you can't see the distinction between celebrating a former athlete who
Subsequent to playing at a university took a job that requires working on Sunday and actually playing games on Sunday? That's like saying since we have pictures of Jim McMahon up on the walls and he is in the HOF, BYU is endorsing drinking, drugs and womanizing. It's a pretty ridiculous argument. The church is very clear about all professions on Sunday, they are against all work on the Sabbath, but everyone is free to make their own choices and choose their own profession.
