You just failed at compression, that's your fault...
Not mine.

You are correct about one thing, I do not expect BYU to suddenly get a bunch of commitments from 4 and 5 star players, in fact back to the comprehension point I didn't mention "stars" at all originally, I just said they need to get better top end talent and that by doing so they will then have quality depth. For instance if a player like Brian Logan, who was a good player, is your backup, and someone better is your starter, then you have "depth" that actually adds up to having a better team. But if Brian Logan is your starter, and some other guy just like him is your backup, then you may have "depth" but you're not really a better team because your results would be more or less the same regardless of which one was playing.

Personally I'm waiting to see results from this staff as to the quality of players they are bringing in, we won't have that answer for 2-3 seasons at least. And I don't care how many stars they have by their names, I only care about the end results. But I do know this, they can already get players like Logan, and that is not a knock on him as he was a good player, but I want them to show me they can get better players than Logan and make the Logan level of player their "depth". When that happens then we'll actually have the "depth" you're saying they need. And I couldn't agree more that they need "depth", I just don't consider having more of what they have all that good as far as "depth" is concerned. They need to get better players at the top, regardless of some recruiting site ranking.

Hopefully that's clear enough for you because t is the 4th time I've said it.
