Not offended at all. I know everyone has their own perspective and views and who am I to say your view is wrong.
I know from my experience at BYU and others in my ward this was a real concern. Not only with sexual assaults but also with parties that someone may have broken the rules with alcohol or other HC violations. Students were always concerned about the HC office turning things back on them.
Also the number of young women who came out after Madi and said they did not report due to those fears is absolutely staggering and very disturbing for my beloved University.
