I don't want to come off as a hater. I love BYU, and yes I think BYU is incredibly safe, and is in a league of its own which is why I do not compare it with other universities.

Again I think we just don't see things the same way. I think the systemic issue of conflict of interest fostered an environment of underreporting of sexual assaults. I do think that is a "huge" problem. Not huge as in 1000s of people are being rapes and molested and it going unreported. Huge as in if it even causes one girl to not report or if one guy feels he can do something and not get cause due to this conflict of interest it is to much. I don't know what the numbers are..... honestly I don't care. I want the issue fixed so no girl......NOT ONE, has to feel shame about reporting an issue and having an instant HC investigation opened.

I hope that makes sense. I went back and read through my messages. I do not see how you got out of them that I was a hater. I am simply critical of one aspect of BYU. One aspect I refuse to accept as appropriate. Thankfully the University agreed with me.
