You are stating that most sexual assault at your U involves late night, drugs/alcohol, and / or sororities and frats.
Well, it stands to reason that most sexual activity happens late at night. For those of you with a different experience: cool.
It also figures that most college kids drink. If you don't have a religion and/or honor code that bans alcohol you can pretty much assume as much.
Finally, sororities and frats get all the publicity in the world when anything goes wrong. There's an entire national narrative that has been created starting from Animal House and continuing to Rolling Stone''s bogus UVA rape story. Yet to suggest that most sexual assaults on campus occur in frat houses is a real stretch.
BYU is blessed because it has a unique student body: 98% LDS. And maybe we agree that is why sexual assault is less common there. But to then suggest that it's all about alcohol and frats is misleading. There are plenty of sober creeps out there who don't need a frat to assault a girl.
