Humans have rarely lived in an always fed state. Our bodies know just what to do without food for long periods of time. Now I understand that many may not want to be so extreme in their cutting but I've personally always enjoyed it.
Take a multivitamin, get your electrolytes and then burn to the extent you are comfortable. We don't have to agree and that's fine. Workout programs with a balanced diet and a high running metabolism can be fine for many people too.
