Who's complaining? This sounds like students want front row without the
Sacrifice. Did they only ask those who want to show up at game time and get front row?
I agree with a happy medium but you just went from a 4-5 day ritual to 24 hours. Granted I don't know what Duke does for sure but I have an idea. I've heard stories of wrist band checks and group representation et al. I'm okay with that. But why the 24 hour limit? Because some want to get the benefits without putting in the time. That's all. Sounds an awful lot like we are once again squeezing out those whose dedication ratchet up the atmosphere and increase the excitement in order to appease the less dedicated.
On the other hand, maybe we should do that with home teaching. Regression to the mean. Hmmmm.
