What can he do? He doesn't own the company. They want to move on..
My brother has been in this same position from the owners perspective. Sometimes you just have a person on staff that has been there too long, has become too comfortable, and the workplace needs a makeover. Each case is different, not saying your FIL is a liability, but if he feels he's getting the cold shoulder he probably is. What point is there in prolonging a toxic work environment even if he used a discrimination lawsuit?
